Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Literal Voice web application operated by Tiny Whale and Petunia.
By accessing or using Literal Voice, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Literal Voice is a free web application that translates figurative language, idioms, and indirect expressions into plain, literal language using AI language processing. The service is intended as a communication aid and informational tool only.
Literal Voice does not require you to create an account. The service is accessible directly in your browser without registration.
You agree to use Literal Voice only for its intended purpose. You agree not to:
Literal Voice uses AI language processing to interpret figurative language. While we strive for accuracy, translations may not always be correct or complete. Do not rely on Literal Voice for critical communications, legal matters, or medical contexts. Always verify important translations with a qualified human where accuracy is essential.
Literal Voice and its underlying technology are owned by Tiny Whale and Petunia. You retain ownership of any text you submit. By submitting text, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process it for the purpose of providing the translation service.
We strive to keep Literal Voice available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.
The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tiny Whale and Petunia shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of or reliance on the service.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada.
